    If anyone decides to make this using the free Walmart pattern and the accompanying fabric...be aware that the "bright red" fabric needs to be 1/4 yard more than stated. I had to piece the ends of the red/white strips to make the flag pattern.

    The pattern is from A.E. Nathan Fabrics...go to the website...click on Quilt of the Month and download the PDF.

    i love it... havent ever seen walmart quilt of the month.. we are just getting fabric back into our walmart i sure missed it. really love the quilt.
