Finally finished! This pictures shows the quilt just before being completely done - had to have pic! My hubby is holding it up on our back deck. It is the Warm Wishes pattern that I couldn't resist messing with. I just turned the plain blocks into kaleidoscopes.

The quilting is free motion, and I wish I had done better. I meandered the kaleidoscope blocks and just quilted lines in the strip blocks. Live and learn! My husband says he loves it and that's all that really matters.

Exactly. I'm not much of a "Theme" person....and (but?) this is a FABULOUS use of a theme. Really stunning. Beautiful. Patriotic. Stately. Respectable. Fun. I love it.
