    My formal dining room isn't very formal. I have a USA and a Texas Flag (I made) as my decor. I made a table runner to go with the flags.

    The lesson I just learned is to make pictures of fabric to help decide the color value. I can see that what I thought was my medium red and medium blue are actually dark colors.

    lovely work - never heard of taking a photo oof fabrics together b4 sewing, but sounds like a good idea.

    I copied my fabrics on my printer/scanner before I started my D9P and was able to play around with them before I actually started stitching. I thought it was a pretty good idea.....IMHO!
