Smile love the variegated thread choice

[QUOTE=ekuw;8654771]At that yard sale the woman was a quilter and had LOTS of fabric. I restrained myself and bought the charms and a 7 yard piece of fabric that I can eventually use for backings. I used a variegated Aurifil thread (pink/blue/yellow/green rainbow). A while ago I bought a sampler pack of variegated thread. One was browns, one was greys and one was the rainbow. I didn't think I would like the rainbow, but it turns out it is very cool and I have used it on a couple of quilts. Adds a little something something :-). Thanks for your kind words.

Thank you for answering my question on what thread you used to quilt the spirals. It was the Icing on the cake...so prettty!
Every quilt has a story, and I enjoyed hearing how your quilt evolved.

The fabric really makes that quilt.

I like it! A nice easy way to use a charm pack or two and with the simple setting. Easy, Peasy!. Marvelous use of your bargain finds, and stash. It is a keeper idea.
