Some of you asked a while back for this pattern. I'm so sorry I am sending it this late. I'm not sure if I am going to send this correctly, if you don't get it all, I will send it on another post with this same title. If you have any questions about the pattern, then PM me. This was taught to me by Bisquit Queen and her mother taught her how to make it. It's a nice cuddly quilt.

burp cloth pattern. Sorry I added the burp cloth first. Hope this all makes sense to you. With remaining fabric from swaddling quilt. Leaving right sides together, unfold and smooth out, refold both pieces in half, place top of pattern on folded edge. trace on fabric, then cut out. Follow sewing directions for blanket.

Pattern for swaddling blanket. Take 2 45x 45 flannel pieces, preferrably print on one side solid on the other side. Lay right sides together. Fold in half, then half again. From top at your selvage edge come down 1 1/2 to 2 and start drawing your line from the folded edge down to bottom folded edge. Cut out line you just drew, unfold, smooth out , leaving about a 3 to 4 for your opening. start sewing around. (you may pin if you want to before you start sewing). Sew 1/4 around until you get to your beginning opening. stop and back stitch. Turn your fabric inside out (also known as quick turn). Sew your opening shut. you may hand sew or machine sew your opening. Sew around your blanket again to reinforce. U can use a decortive stitch.

I make my burp cloths similar to yours. :) They are great for babies. When my son was little, I always had one on. You can never have enough of these!!!
