Thank you and yes, they are warm, soft and very comfy and something that anyone can make. Even those who aren't into quilting.

Will reply to both of your replies in one. I guess that's why they are called biscuit quilts. For fun, go to www.google.com and do a search for biscuit quilts and you'll get several links to check out including one about the puff quilt shared yesterday on this board. You don't even need a pattern and can make your own shapes just be sure they will sew together well.

Yes, I do hand stitch them but think this particular pattern could be machine sewn. I explained in my previous reply why I opted to hand sew - quality family time in the same area of the house. That's important too.

I want to just "jump" right in and snuggle.

For more information on Biscuit Quilts:
    1. www.google.com and search for biscuit quilts
    2. search on this board for biscuit quilts. There were two items there that came up. I just browsed them but looks like there are instructions for the puff quilt there.

You're welcome Penny and thank you. It was in one of my magazines way back when and for some reason the idea appealed to me. The puff quilts are beautiful but back when I was a beginner, required more than I felt comfortable doing so this is perfect for any level of quilter.

Thank you very much. Oddly enough, fun as these were to make, they have always been my least favorite quilts but also oddly enough, I've grown to like them more the last few years. Oh well. Better late than never.

I love that! Very, very cute. How comfy it must be to snuggle in all that puff! :)
