Love them! That's a quilt on my list for 'someday' and hopefully sooner than later! heehee!
Quick question though- why did you choose to do a border on 2 sides of both quilts(from what I can tell), and not leave the 'scalloped' look around the entire quilt? ..Just curious. I like the look of both of them, but wondering if there's a reason...

You don't have to use the hexagon template to make a biscuit quilt. You can use squares or triangles or any shape that will fit together well. If the sides don't work, just cut them straight like I did.

your quilts are beautiful. they must be very heavy.
I made one for my doggie several years ago. Made a nice comfortable bed for her and I only had to make like 16 of them. I think they were 4x4 squares.
Very fun to make.
