Wanted to share a picture of what I consider to be my biggest triumph in quilting!! LOL I got this pattern from Pam Bono's Big book of Rotary Cutter Quilts.... it is called Paw of the Bear. It was a challenge for me to make this as I wanted it bigger than what the pattern was for. But all in all it was very fun to make and I can't wait to make another one from her book.

That looks to be a very challenging pattern. How long have you been quilting? I know I'm not ready for any thing like that. Kudos to you, and a thumb  up I can't wait to see what is next.

Ruth...thanks....I have to admit when I first saw the pattern it was a little intimidating! LOL But, all in all it wasn't that difficult to put together... it was alot of fun....I cannot wait to do another one from her book!

I have been making quilts since 1975...there was a BIG break in between there for about 10 years while I worked full time but have been going really steady on it for the last 3 years or so since I am no longer employed.... I either tie or machine quilt my projects....I have only handquilted ONE wallhanging and it was so horrible I haven't tried it again...I also don't applique! LOL In other words, if it can't be done by machine I pretty much stay away! I use fusible web and machine applique tho! That is fun!

Thanks again.... I am hoping to make a couple more projects from Pam's book this summer!

Country Quilter, that is most beautiful!! I'm a bear collector, hint hint!
I'm anxious to find the book and see what else she has to offer.

    Great work!

ps, spelling or typing is off this morning. Of course I could blame it on the eyes and glasses. This is the hardest place to see the typing for me. But I love love love the board!

Great job! I need more time to look at that bear...I really like that pattern and have a friend who would love it! She named her stained glass business- 2 Bears Glass...so you know she likes bears!
