That is such a sweet gift set. As a momma, I would be THRILLED if someone gave me a cute set like that for my baby. Great job - the recipient is sure to love it.

Thanks for all your lovely comments. It makes me smile especially when your day starts out without a bang. The bib idea came from the Martha Pullen site where Shane gave a tut on her version which is beautiful. It's done with hemstitching the edge and then using a crochet edge. She said the rotary blade leaves a raw edge and that would eventually unravel. I made the bib first with 2 layers of flannel and turned it inside out, way too thick. Then I did a hemstitch with a wing needle which didn't work so well. I had to make the holes larger with an awl. Next one I'll not sew the 2 layers together and just run the hemstitch along the edges with a #120 needle and see how that works. I'll probably pink the edges to insure they don't unravel. I also won't use a worsted weight yarn. I used that weight because it matched the fabric perfectly. Alway challenges, but the I love the end result.

Great job on everything, but my favorite is the adorable little hat. How cute is that!
