    Ok - let me explain the black piece at the top - that was not originally part of the quilt. I found the power cord to my babylock esante machine and was fooling around with all the stiches....my DD came in and really liked it and asked if she could have the piece of material - maybe ot make a pillow - she was almost begging for it....so I told her I would think about it and then added it to the top.

    In looking at it - I think I got some of my squares out of order at 2 a.m. when I was pieces together - because it doesn't look exactly right....but - this DH is great - she loves whatever I make her and so we shall see....
