well I couldn't sleep last nite for thinking that this pattern was too hard for me. I just won't have it! I got up and read over it a couple more times and visualized myself doing each step. When I finished my coffee this morning I got after it, there is still a few things I just don't get but as soon as I get home from work today I'll finish it, I got it all cut out before I left. I didn't have any pelon so I used a cotton batting, I didn't understand the "squaring out" part of the pattern for the fleece so I just cut it out like the brim then cut 1/2" off each side of the back slit and butted it together. I'm excited to see if I can really do it. "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can"!
