This one I made for QOV last year. I was told by a lady who attended the Christmas party where the quilts were handed out that there were a couple kids fighting over it-they were siblings so at least it went to the same family.

Each period of the periodic table is explained a little and then other interesting things from the song by They Might Be Giants-The elements. You can see it on youtube.

I couldn't find a photo after it was quilted. The LA did a great job on it.

Oh, I forgot to say some of the designs I got from theflossbox.com. She has a lot of cool hand embroidery and cross stitch designs. I used fabric pens on this one.
