    These are all little pieces that are put on with a stab stitch. One feather at a time, you bond 2 pieces of fabric then cut out each feather, petal etc. and then sew them on one at a time with a specital needle Petal Play is by Joan Shay. With the interfacing between you can shape each piece you put on and it will stay that way.
