Nice quilt. Don't you just love it when a plan comes together? Keep on quilting. Let us know when the next one is done. I am working on about three but I am designing a hotair balloon quilt that I can't wait to share with yall.

You have inspired me to post a picture. I am praying that it will work. I am a new quilter, with no training. Many of my ideas come from coloring books. I taught pre-school for 20 years. A new found friend asked me to make her a 'Hip-Hop' Bear. This is the WIP.

Lesslee your quilt is absolutely a marvel. I am saving all of my little scraps also, so I love any and all examples of scrap quilting. By time I have enough saved, hopefully, I'll also have an inspired use for them.

The other thing I'm planning, are some bird nest bags for the really small stuff: excess thread, trimmed off edges, small pcs. of batting, etc. I saw an idea using the plastic web bags that fruit sometimes comes in. I'm saving any of those I come across to make long narrow tube bags, into which I will stuff all the teeny left overs and then wire it to hang out in a tree, or somewhere the birds can find it, and use the scraps for nests. I saw that on the internet somewhere. I think it was a quilting site.

loved your applique Weste, it's really beautiful. Randy the pics you downloaded are inspiring  I'm amazed over and over again by everyone's talent.

Obviously the first picture was not the Hip-hop Bear but a quilt tht I did called "A Kitty and His Butterfly". Sorry. I am determined to get the hang of this thing.

The foot is upside down but, I will fix this in my photo files, after I finish the quilt.

This is a gift that i am finishing for a little friend across the country. She requested a Hip-Hop Bear. Using a colring book, and piece format I was able to create this wall hanging. W.I.P.
