I'm sharing a few photos I took at the Houston Quilt Show this week. Many exhibits cannot be photographed (including a FABULOUS collection of Baltimore Album quilts -- amazing!), so I just snapped a few that I like, including the scrappy quilts and antique Americana quilts. And, of course, the Best of Show winner; it was amazing to see the detail work on that quilt.

I am so sorry that I didn't get details about the quilt makers so I can credit them for their work here. It was difficult to take photos because of the other people who were admiring the work. Each quilt is a masterpiece.

This quilt was made in 1919 by a mother for her son who was serving overseas during WWI. She gave the quilt to him when he returned home.
