Hi ladies....I just want to remind everyone of a couple of things. As the tops grow in size and beauty, we have to remember that they do need to be pieced as well as possible also. We want all the quilts to be ready to be sandwiched and quilted when they get home...so please remember that it is your responsibility to insure that BEFORE you mail your rounds out....

The top must be square (please measure it to be sure) and it must lay flat.

Everyone is doing a beautiful job...if you don't believe me, just take some time to surf all the group sites...please help keep them all on track though by making sure your addition meets the criteria ...Great job everyone and have fun!!

If Tisha is ready, this will be coming her way. I will be checking with her. I am looking forward to getting everything back in the swing of things!

You have done a beautiful job, Mareliba. You should be very proud of yourself (and I bet your mother is proud also!)

Oh Mareliba...that is beautiful!!!! Great job!

I heard back from Tisha today...she said that "the PO advised for her to wait a week for the back log to clear after the volcano. She plans to mail Lori's on Thursday. Hopeing maybe to have Susie's done too depending on what time she gets in from work tomorrow. She wants to get it done so she'll be back on track...she sends love to all "the girls in the group""

Well, ladies, Lori's top arrived today from Tisha. I think it looks fine just the way it is. There's kind of a "finished" look to it. Some real thinking will have to go into a further addition.
AND - this quilt is WAY lovelier in the cloth than in the picture. Whew! The details!!

Here is Barb's top. I still need to sew down the bias, but I have a question for you all. Do you think it needs something in the corners? I was thinking a sort of tri-shaped design, but now that the sides are on, I'm not sure it needs more. What do you think?
