    Default Phrixus and Helle

In a small village in Greece about 70 years ago my mother hand embroidery Phrixus and Helle from Greek Mythology when she was 17 years old. On my last visit to my sisters house she gave me the best gift ever. She told me that she has no use for it and it would be better off with me.So i took it and quilted!!!!Thanks for looking!!!

Wonderful job by both you and your Mother (and your sister for passing it on to you)! It is beautiful and what a great memory to have of your Mother. Great job!

What a beautiful piece. The borders and quilting finish it off wonderfully.

Fantastic! How wonderful to have something that your Mother did and you finished it beautifully.
