    Default Picket Fence baby quilt

Post-rotator cuff surgery, I'm working my way up to larger projects. I managed to finish this one and get it mailed off in the nick of time. The mother went into labor on the same day the quilt was received! I also made this little owl taggie blanket for when the baby is a little older. Thanks for looking!

Some babies (in particular, my son #2), love tags...on anything! He would always turn around any stuffed animal, towel, whatever, to find the tag. I used to joke that he needed a ball with just tags sticking out all over the place. Then someone (genius!) came up with the idea of a taggie blanket. I think they are sold in specialty baby stores, but I thought the owl idea would be cute. This is my own pattern.
