    Hi,

I've left comments on here but never posted pics before. These are a few I made a couple of years ago.

The 1st one is a Crazy Shortcut Quilt as You Go Quilt for my oldest son.

The 2nd is a memory quilt I made in memory of my beloved stepson that went home to be with Jesus in 2009.

The 3rd is one I designed and made for my father-in-law. I had just started quilting when I made it.

I put a fabric picture in the middle of my FIL.

This was made for my mom using a Bonnie Hunter pattern

I found a pic of a quilt like this and liked it so I copied it. I made this during the week of my stepson's death to help me deal with my grief.

Again saw something on-line and I copied it...sort of. This sold at a church sale for $75 to raise funds for the youth trips.

Not an ugly quilt in the bunch!! Great job.... :D

I know quilting helps ease grief. It helped a lot after my DD died. :-(

Thanks Lori! Loosing SS was very hard. Quilting helped me get through my grief at the initial loss.

As you can all see it seems I like scrappy quilts...I really have made several that aren't scrappy too. I'll have to look for those pictures.

Most of my quilts are twin size or smaller. Seems I'm in the age bracket where there are lots of grandbabies being born! We just had number 8 born last week and I haven't even gotten his quilt started...bad Nana! (I do have the fabric picked out at least!)

My condolences to you and your family. Quilting is wonderful therapy. I draw a lot of comfort from mine, and it looks like the same for you. I love the stack n whack in the first pic. The colors are so beautiful!

So sorry for the loss of your stepson. All your quilts are beautiful and very well made. I really like the scrappy one in your avatar; I'll have to put in on my "to-do" list!
