Here is my sewing space. My husband took half of the garage and made this space for me. Bought cabinets at lowes and made the shelves from cabinet tops at lowes. I love it and him for his contribution to this dream.... Now that I have been sewing in for awhile I have found a few things that I need to do different. I need to make another cabinet I can roll in front of this so it will be wider when I work on quilt tops.

cutting table (rolls away from wall)

OMG, I am so jealous! Someday when the kids finish high school, then college, maybe when I retire. Have fun in your space, it is awesome!

Beautiful area. I really like that peg board idea. I am getting a small redo on my sewing area. I am so excited.

Thanks for comments and YES I love it and NO it is a mess. I do try to pick up after each use (OCD) but when I took pics it was in use. I just hope to be like so many of you wonderful quilters here on this board when I grow up...lol. I just want to say thanks to everyone who has been so helpful and kind since I joined the board. Thanks again and Bless each and everyone of you.

There aren't too many husbands that would give up part of their garage for a sewing room. I think you owe him a big kiss and hug. Your space is nicely organized-great storage, and I love the peg board system-no hunting for your tools. Thanks for giving us a peek. :-D :-D :-D
