    Thank you reneebobby, I thought it would be fun to try sponge painting. I did a dark navy/grey on the white wall.

    I do have a confession to make regarding the double irish chain. I ran out of material before the quilt was big enough, so I had to run around and find some fabric with the same type of colors and add a border! That's why the border fabric is nowhere to be seen in the body of the chain!..... *ah, confession is good for the sole* :wink:

    no, you're not wrong. it just looks kind of funky to me. Maybe just because I know the story behind it.

    You sure do good work. I love the color choices too. Lucky kids to have a mom who quilts and paints.

    Thanks. I think my DD is much better at color choices than I, I'll have to post some of her drawings.
