I found several of the blocks at fatcatpatterns.com. Others I googled free coloring book pages, and just adapted those to applique...I wasn't sure at all about the plaid...but now I really like it...I have to say I had put another row of the plaid as the last border...it was too busy, poor baby would have had a headache!! lol...so, took it off and bound it in the red...
