    I love that! You did a beautiful job. There is something about the stance of the buck that makes him seem very real. My son also hunts & he would love that.

    some people do not listen to themselves. If they are quilting friends, ask how they liked doing this project. Yes we should support each other with projects we do. Seek out folks who can be more supportive and reciprocate back. There was a gal who taught classes at the LQS like that. She would blatantly pick on someone or ignore them. Or make snide remarks. She finally got fired.
    I love this art quilt and have a pattern to do a horse someday. I am sure your son will treasure it.

    Your work is terrific!! I haven't tried anything this difficult yet, but would sure like to. Don't let the "me too" people bother you...not worth the time. Saw a big old buck just last evening that would have been a beauty, but he was here one minute and gone the next, and no camera within reach.
