Yea, I dragged my feet for 5 years while my friends tried to get me to quilt with them. I was content to work on my cross stitch and my crafts. DH made the mistake of telling me I should try quilting. I wonder if he regrets it now? I certainly have the fabric buying and collecting down!!!

Wow, you have been a busy girl! All your quilts are gorgeous! Love the label for the wedding quilt--someday I'll get a machine that does embroidery. You've sure done a lot of all-night quilts--do you ever sleep???? My rule of thumb is that nothing good ever happens after midnight--especially if I have to work the next day!

Yes, I make it all night!!! It's funny, but for about 5 of the 12 years I participated in the all night part I was the youngest person who made it all night. We would do this on a Friday night and would go out to breakfast afterwards, and then go home and sleep. Starting Feb 07, they (I had just had surgery to remove an ovary and was not there to be in on the decision making) decided not to do all nighters any more. We get together from 5-11 on Friday night and again 9-3 on Saturday in the music room at church The first 4 years I cross-stitched all night. That got hard at 3 in the morning on 22 count linen fabric, I would not be able too see to well any more, but I can feed fabric into a sewing machine much easier at that time

This quilt was because I got carried away making my daughters and collecting the fabs that I made another queen size, it's on my bed. I still have about 80 blocks left. I am going to make a valance and put it with the quilt in my DD's room

Oh, one of them didn't come through, so a couple more
Another Mystery, wall hanging size.

Yet another Mystery, also a wall hanging. You can tell I have chosen not to hang it and it has been folded for a long time!!!

This was a mystery that my DH saw in a shop in Orange county and really liked. So I presented this mystery to our group. It is a queen size as well
