    For this quilt I use the method of needlemarking and made some templates out of cardboard.

    On darker fabrics I love to use watercolor pencils.

    Yes, I enter my quilts in shows. We almost don't have big shows here in Germany so I send them overseas. This year I have entered a quilt at the World Quilt Show (starts in August in NH), at the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham, UK (in August) and at the Scottish Quilt Championships in Edinburgh, Scotland (September).
    Unfortunately the shipping overseas, especially to US, is quite expensive and the custom affairs for US are a little complicated. But I really hope I can enter more quilts in international shows. I don't want to hide my quilts somewhere in the closet!
