I am in a church group meeting in our church parlor every Tuesday, but I can't say that we are gaining. We have lost a few to illness and moving out of town. But we are enjoying the fellowship with each other. About half were people who had never quilted or pieced a quilt. I'm glad you are growing.
Edited to say our ages range from 40 to 90

Love your idea of opening the class to young people. I belong to a Tues morning sewing group that meets at the church. Several young mothers found out a bunch of us oldies meet and the now come and join us. We range in age from 24 to 74. We all have a great time.
