Too funny!! I frequently start out doing a wall hanging and end up with a Queen if not King size quilt!!!

Yours, is beautiful, should be very proud! It has great "movement" and flows with great color placement and usage!

Lovely job. I'm green with envy - see many things I would like to make but can't get to starting any.

I also have been quilting only a short while, and the quilt I just finished took me 3 years to assemble, and only partially quilt. I hope to get back in the mood so I can completely finish quilting it. I originally made it for our Queen sized bed in our camper, and when I laid it on our bed in the camper just as it is, I was thrilled with it. Then my husband said that we're purchasing a new camper, and wouldn't you know, the new camper has a KING SIZED bed. Now I can't even look at my quilt that took me 3 years to get to the point it's at now. I think I will finish it tho, and let a charity have it to auction it off. But I'm not even in the mood anymore. ANYHOW, YOUR quilt is gorgeous--I really like it-A LOT!!!

Why not add wide borders and make it king size -- unless you really don't like it. If you really don't like it -- ask a local quilting group or church group if they would like to finish it and raffle/donate/sell it

    Just an idea
