Marcia - thank you SO much for sharing the pictures. There were so many that deserved ribbons, but didn't get them. It must be very hard to be a judge!
Do you know who made the Best Of Show quilt?
I've seen a small picture of the 'Burgoyne Surrounded' in a magazine - great to see your larger one. Awesome shading!
Silver Light - the tranquility of this quilt is wonderful. Could you tell if the tree trunks' colors were on the fabric, thread-painted or actually painted?
Finally, I loved the gorgeous quilted roses in the one you called'green'

I really wish I could have gone to that show whimper whimper. I wanted to but the timing was just bad. I will go next year - and I want to go to Paducah. I already told my family that I would not be visiting them next year - I'm going to a quilt show instead! I only get one trip a year to myself pretty much so next year it will be spent walking around fabric!! I'll try to arrange a family reunion camping trip or something instead - this way everyone has a chance to see each other..!
