OK, I'm done with my block, but have no idea how to post it to this thread. And I'm not in the mood to waste my time on here now. I want to sew. I'll try later.

OK - as asked for, here are my potholder blocks made out of my mi-scut blocks from week 1. Not sure why the colors are so strange... They're made out of Christmas fabrics.

anddd..... today I decided to try it again. Here's what I got. I still did it wrong, but it's closer. And can someone explain to me how 6 2.5" blocks in a row can equal an 11" finished block?

I think I'm going back to pinwheels and churn dash...

Don't give up, if you can post a picture here on tis thread, you can do these blocks. Be sure you are doing a 1/4" seam, and don't square up the little blocks. I did one of Rhonda's blocks, my first Drunkards path for a swap. It turned out really nice because I was so careful to square up each block, it turned out 11 1/2" so I kept that one and made another. I did Rhonda's first sampler and between the sampler and swaps, I've done 85-90% of the blocks and eac and everyone always had one block in it that was turned wrong. I also got a 1/4 foot for my machine that made a world of difference. So don't give up her blocks are fun....

Week 4 Catherine. I hope this picture isn't as large. This is a 6 1/2" block. Oh and Rhonda, I'm not going anywhere as far as your blocks are concerned. I may only be on this board to be sure I don't miss any of your posts. Maybe I'll catch on to the rest of the board in pits and pieces. Because I do love looking at everyones pictures and the tut's.

Took me all day but here is 18 inch Tayla wk 4. What looks like white in the pic is really a real pale yellow.

Very Pretty Poker Diva....I am officially blind. I have all the little 1 1/2 squares cut out, in those bold colors I'm using for this sampler, but I'm waiting until tomorrow to sew it together. I did a 12 1/2 swap block in Kansas Dugout today too, so my poor old eyes are going every which way but loose. I do like your colors and contrast. Good job!
