Yep, Miss Beverly's embroidered pansies are just so cute snuggled amid the little squares ....
And, Miss Feathers ... that second quilt looks like a wonderful version of the bon bons I used to buy at Woolworths whenever we would go to Astoria! looks just like a box of fine chocolates <g>

Omak - the way you used the same blue, yellow and green , sure did tie all the blocks together as well. Thank you for starting the thread and encouraging others to share. When I finish my first scrappy I will then have to learn to post pictures. I love photography and taking pics of my few finished projects but sharing the photos is another project in itself. Have a good Sunday, Cindy

Posting pictures to the thread/site is very easy. If you scroll down the "post reply" page, you will find a button - - attach files.
when you click on that button, you may have to scroll down the page a bit more to find the button that says "browse" ... clicking on that button will bring up your pictures file. Find the picture you want to post, highlight it, and then click on "open" on the picture page. That will put the destination addy into the line next to "browse" on this web site. You can type in a description if you want. At that time, you can add another file, up to three pictures at a time. When you have selected your pictures click on the "submit" button ... sometimes, it takes a bit of time to have your pictures posted on to the thread, but in time it will post, and you will see how everything looks <g>. WHen you are posting pictures, you cannot "preview" your posting ... just click on "submit".
    Doesn't that sound easy? <wave>

Here's a thought for using scraps that was passed on to us yesterday in class:

A lady made all of her grandchildren a quilt for Christmas. She pieced the backs, and put a bit of everyone's quilts into all of the other backs. When the kids opened them and realized she did this, they all ran around comparing quilts to see where the pieces are from "my" quilt and where "your" quilt piece is in "mine."

Since we are working on quilts for all the nieces/nephews for Christmas, I think we'll be doing this to connect all the brothers/sisters/cousins. I can't wait to post pics of all the finished products.
