    The trees were cut out from panels. I traced over the branches and tree trunks with the quilting machine. I think they came from a line called "Migration." I'm not sure if she used a pattern or made it up.

    She also used desert rolls and charm packs from the "Migration" line. I just saw them advertised in the daily deal email from Missouri Quilt Co.

    Hi I am the sister in law..aka piecer..and i washed and dried both quilts last nite and now I dont know if I can give them up. I love the crinkled look. Since my sewing experience is coming up on one
    yr I get just a little excited when I see one completed. Not generally a selfish person .....but....

    Love those trees and leaves- This board is almost as good as going "leaf-peeping" in New England, and very great on gas mileage! Thanks for sharing these beautiful quilts. As usual, the work is superb!
