Both are georgous though, your choice of material is great!

I like sample 1 although it is hard to choose because they are both nice. The black for patch grabs me too much in sample 2, the lighter fabric lifts it more in sample 1, IMHO. I'm no expert.

I like them both. #1 adds depth to the design and # 2 is the typical layout. Depending on the effect your looking for it's 1 or 2... :D
