    I remember when you posted a picture of that red/white/blue one and I just love it. I love the matching shams too.

    I want to learn how to make them.

    How do you do it? Do you have a pattern for shams?

    No Cordelia, I dont have a pattern. I just measure my pillows then use however many blocks to fill up the size, usually have to add some filler pieces on the sides or on top and bottom. for the top piece I make a sandwich just like a real quilt and quilt it before adding the back. the back is 2 pieces overlapped, each piece about 2/3 the length of the pillow. Here are some pics, maybe that will help me make a little more sense.
