Barnbum, love your pillowcases. I made a friend a pincushion with the wolf fabric. Where did you get the tree fabric? My friends birthday is coming up and would love to make the pillowcases for her.

    Perfect for a guy.
    And a girl.

Where did you get the tree fabric?
I think it was a small end of bolt piece on sale at one of my favorite Mennonite places. I was going to use it to add to a ragged flannel... but it needed to be here. I loved it the minute I saw it... wish there had been more.

Karla, they are so gorgeous! My Neil is a wolf and animal lover, too. I should look for some of that fabric for him. It's beautiful.

Great job and a week off, too! yippee, WHAT could be better?

    Hugs,
    Sharon

Perfect, Karla! She's going to love them!
Great job! Never thought of putting flannel on the pillowcases. I have a friend whose little boy holds the opening of the pillowcases when he sleeps. Maybe I'll make him a couple with the flannel and see if he likes that better. Something softer for him to hold.

Beautiful job Karla! 19! That's a big one here in Newfoundland... legal drinking age! Hope she has a wonderful birthday!

gcathie--I'm pretty sure the wolf fabric was a Wal-Mart find! I've also seen it on ebay. :D The flannel was from a Mennonite store--the end of a bolt, so I have no idea how to get more, unless Ada ordered more. I'm not buying fabric for as long as possible... so I haven't been there.

21 is legal here--but she's not too interested in drinking--unless it's water. :D She's having a good week--perfect score on organic chem homework and she feels very confident about her Genetics test yesterday. (She's knows I'm home on vacation, so she texts me news.:D ) She has a test every day this week and a 4 hour lab on Friday--otherwise I would have gone to see her during the week.
