    I agree with most, it looks fine. I also understand your need for perfection - I also did three practice ones and the third finally worked. What I did was exactly what you are doing, but when you sew the two halves together, place a pin at the point of one, then at the poing of the other and match up that way - worked for me and now every one I make has all the points matched up perfectly.

    Looks absolutely great. Quit trying so hard. You'll make a chore out of a pleasure. Quilting is for fun, not to be a stress test!
