Ok, I just grabbed some pieces of scrappy stuff, which is why it didn't match up well. But it is good enough for me to have nearby.
It's not as cute as hers, but now I have the idea down and my attempt with hot glue didn't do too badly. I need to make the top a bit stiffer.

I'm pleased with this one. It is the correct cut, except for the double handles. I wanted more of a 'May Basket' look. I liked the lace and roses for the vintage romantic-type look.
On this one I did the lace and turn over before I sewed the sides up the bag. Seemed a lot easier, just have to take it slow over the bulky part.
This one is probably going to my Secret Pal this month. 8-)
