    These are very cute and so practical, too. I've been making the thread bag/pincushions that was posted on here several months ago. I'm done 8 of them and already given 4 away. A friend that I had given one to, asked me to make more so she could given them for Christmas. Very quick project and doesn't take much fabric. For the top of the bag (to hold it open) my husband brings me the plastic strips that comes around packages. Works great. I just tape the ends and sew around the bag. Love all kinds of pincushions. So many cute ones! And not boring.

    Thank you everyone! The picture doesn't show as colorful as they are, but you do get the idea. They were super fun to make...and yes, I did think of them for gifts as I'm always looking for fun sewing gifts for friends!
