    I really like the pattern and your work. Do you know it if is still available or in a book? Or do you know the exact name of the pattern you started with. I know 20 year is a long time. I live in in pine tree country so an interesting pine tree variation is always welcome.

    I especially like the random tan/brown pieces. It makes it look like a walk on paths through the woods. It's lovely.

    I really like those trees and I just realized that they are smaller on the bottom. Aren't they usually made smaller on top? I really like this way.

    Oh dear judy ... I am thinking it is like a photographer's view while flying low over a forest. If you look at the first pic that is somewhat further away, your can get that feeling.

    This pattern was on the front of keepsake quilting catalog at the time I wanted to make a fall quilt. I just drafted the pattern from the picture, made the templates, and went for it.

    I love trees and they have always been the first thing I place into my landscaping. I love gardening and landscaping a home. It is so creative!

    Glad you finished it. It is very nice and it would have been a sad thing to have it just sit in a drawer.
