    Excellent piecing and color. Who ever quilted it did a great job not quilting so heavy that it took away from blocks.

    Yes I used the book and the ruler. It turned out pretty but was not my personal favorite to make. I think I would start with something much smaller to see if you like the process first. If you like to make log cabins you will probably enjoy making this type of quilt as well. I always tend to go big. Yes, I have been called an over achiever several times because of this. lol Peggy
