    Default Pink baby blanket

I just finished this cute baby blanket. It is my first time using just cotton muslin as the batting. I was afraid it would really shrink so I washed the musling before hand. After washing the finished quilt, it wrinkled really weird. It looks like the only place it buckled was where I sewed or quilted. It doesn't change how it looks, it was just weird. I wonder if I should have used something other than muslin. All in the learning process!

Anyway, I still like it. I quilted by writting the words 'oink, moo, and quack' all over. You can kind of see it in the second picture!

    Cute quilt!
Do you think your thread was the culprit since the unevenness was where you stitched?

Very cute, anyway! Did you pre-wash the other fabrics? If not, that's probably what the issue is from. I pre-wash everything now, but haven't tried pre-washing my batting yet. I'm afraid to try that! lol I think I'll start using flannel for the wall quilts, though. Much cheaper and they don't have to warm a body, just a ♥!
