I love it so much that I'm going to 'flatter' you by making a similar baby boy quilt (The new parents' theme for the baby room is sock monkeys but... I don't like them.)

I didn not want to feel restrictions and requirements on what I might do.
Not a problem ... I will accept the flattery! I just took a traditional pattern and worked with it.
Sure do hope that you will let me know when you have it ready for me to see!

Here's a quilt that I just made for a sweet new Miss in my "adopted" family!
Size is 40"x50" with the 9P strips being cut at 2".
No fussy cutting for the print centres, just cut into 5" squares to work with the Irish chain.
Thanks for looking ... I had fun making it and then quilting it the last few days.
