    Default Pink enough

Did this for my 8-year old daughter. She decided what colors to use. I guess it's normally not what is associated with Irish. I wanted a bright green binding. It would have looked striking. But nopes, that was not an acceptable color choice according to the princess who commissioned the quilt.

Anyway, this is my second large quilt top (did this one before the double wedding ring). Used my grace sr2 frame to quilt it.

I had to wash out the pen marks and it got a bit wrinkly after that. But still fine. Need to practice moving the machine instead of the fabric. Silly me thought moving the machine would be easy. I've learned that there is a learning curve to that as well.

I think it is wonderful! I thought the same thing that moving the machine would be easier but there is definitely a learning curve.

Love the quilt. I agree, the green would have made a beautiful binding (one of my favorite color combos, green and pink). Alas, princess has just what she wanted.
