    Default In the pink FourPatch

This is a client's table topper made for a gift. I quilted it with big cabbage rose type flowers in pale pink cotton thread. Isn't it wonderful to see how cool even the simplest pattern can be? We knock ourselves out sometimes coming up with new patterns and designs, but the classic blocks still make terrific looking quilts.

Your quilt is beautiful. You're right, the classic patterns are still as beautiful as they ever were. I like the way they show off the fabric. My first love is the fabric after all so I tend to make larger, simpler blocks.

Yes, your right. I am begining to realize that. Simple is gorgeous and speaks volumes. I love your clients little quilt. Love the rich pinks used. And your quilting really enhances the piece.

beautiful! and i agree about the simpler classic patterns. not discounting the fancy ones, just that the classics are just as beautiful in my eyes.
