Smile Pink and Green Arrowhead from ****!

I tried to find a nice soft yellow to replace the stark white, but this is the strangest fabric I have ever worked with! Depending on what was with it, it would look more peach or pink and then the greens would look funny. It must not be the right time of year to find these colors either! I agree the white was the problem and so I replaced it with floral, ditched the sashing and I think I like it. I have to look at it for a while to be sure. I'm not so certain I like the secondary pattern in two colors, but this is my favorite so far. Thanks for all your help with this! I figured out that I can't live long enough to learn as much as Jan, so I'm grateful she is willing to share!

LOVE this!!!!!!!!!!!! I would do the entire quilt just like this ( checkerboard style with the 2 blocks ) add a nice border and then use the print for the final bigger boarder. I just love this block and the secondary look that comes when you do not use borders on each single block. LOVE this again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love the secondary pattern that shows up without the white.
