I went & looked at all 3 o' your threads & I love this version the best o' the 3 trials. The secondary pattern comes out great. It looks like the flowers are growin' behind the trellis.

This looks marvelous! Much more contrast even though the values are mostly dark mediums and light mediums; you've really chosen well and it looks terrific!

When you are ready to put a narrow "stopper border" around the top - between the design and the large green floral border - consider using a much darker green or pink for the contrast. Or even pick up that hint of periwinkle in the floral.....I'm talking about a border that will finish about 1 - 1&1/2" wide. If you use the same green or pink in the blocks, the design of the blocks will seem to flow into the border which "can" be a bit confusing to the eye.

Can't wait to see your finished quilt!

I like this way, I thought the white looked good too. As long as you like it, that is all that matters.

This is lovely, I'm glad you found a happy solution!!! I too, vote for using the purpley color as the first border. It just keeps calling out to me to be picked up from the pattern. Smiles and huggggggs, can't wait to see it all done.
