You made three beautiful, cuddly baby quilts and did a great job!

I love your quilts they are adorable! I love the ruffles! I really love putting ruffles on my baby quilts, but I have never had any lessons. How do you put your ruffles on? Did you do the birthing method? I am always interested in how others do things to help me improve

I've never "birthed" a quilt. I sew it to the right side and turn/pin the back to hide the seam. Then I either hand hem it or machine hem, depending on what it is and how much time I have. I do have a larger baby quilt I'm fixin I to put a ruffle on and I'm thinking I may try the "birth" method. My daughters do all theirs that way. So I'm thinking I'm just old and set in my ways. Thankfully, my machine has a ruffle foot and I no longer have to 'pull' a ruffle.

Thanks everyone for sweet comments. I did give the third quilt away today. To my abhorrence, the girl I gave it to had her mom visiting. She came up to me afterward to thank me for the darling quilt and asked if I LongArm.... She does! I'm not real good at free motion. Definalely not pro. I hope she doesn't look real close at my work lol!!!
