    Thank you -all- for the very kind comments.
    The fabric was one that went from dark purple on the edges to very light pink in the middle. The basic concept is from Margaret Miller's book, "Easy Pieces". It truly is very easy to make. I think I made all the block and assembled it in about 2 days...it just took me more than 6 months to get it finished.
