    been there,done that, Now if someone asks me to make a quilt for them in speciic colors or pattern, They buy the fabric and pattern, and a good down payment on the finished product, Mine to keep free and clear if they dont come back to get it at the specified time.

    I'm glad they got the kid a horse. I think girls and horse are a perfect match, but certainly not at someone else's expense. i can't imagine custom ordering something and then saying, 'oh, sorry, I spent my money on something else.' I'm so sorry that happended to you. It is very pretty. Maybe you could raffle it, or donate it to a hospice or cancer care center?
