    Did you cut the triangles separately or did you do it the other way (not sure of the name of the technique) where you cut a square, draw a line from corner to corner and then cut down the middle to make 2 completed blocks?
    I sewed 2 squares (1 red, 1 white) together around the edges and cut from corner to corner.

    What is the secret in getting that middle join all matching? The only way I can think of is to pencil in all of the seams so you keep to the quarter inch seam always... it is so easy to be slightly off.
