    I also use the rolls that paper towels come on, but I don't make them covered. Just use them plain. Yours are really neat.

    String a ribbon or round cord through the hole so that you can
    tie the ends together. Make it long enough for you to place the loop around your neck so that the binding can roll off in front of you, near the presser foot.

    If these have the hole down the center, do you put a string in it and put it over your head like a necklace and then attach your binding?

    NO...I could never function like that with my chest!
    I just put it in a box on the floor and let it roll!

    you know I learned a NEW use for them this morning...
    you can wrap borders on them too...I was working on a wall hanging and had ironed the border strips and instead of hanging them on the chair, I just rolled them up on a binding spool...worked great!
